Closed Up Condo Suffers Mold Issues

The snowbirds set the A/C to 85 degrees while they were gone for the summer. The humidity build up and the moisture feed a substantial mold growth to happen. Our SERVPRO Applied Mold Remediation Technicians removed the lower sections of the drywall panels; these pieces were not salvageable. They were wrapped, to prevent cross-contamination, and disposed of according to the Broward County Codes. We set up air scrubbers to capture loose mold particles and spores during the remediation process. One tech vacuumed the HVAC system and fogged the ductwork along with the exposed walls to ensure all the fungi were exterminated. The owners were pleased with the finished look of their condominium.
