Broward College's Planetarium Opens to Davie Residents Every Wednesday Night
Broward Colleges Planetarium is one of the only publicly accessible observatories in Broward County. The Planetarium and observatory measure 40-foot in diameter using modern telescopic equipment that auto-focuses to ensure objects remain transparent, in focus, and accessible to those without training. Shows from the Buehler Planetarium in Davie run every Wednesday night with public admissions from 7 pm until 10 pm. The center is also well-known for its dedication to education, with several school programs and tours of the night's sky running throughout the year. The observatory position in Davie, Florida, allows visitors to get up-close views of the Orion Nebula on a clear night. Current renovations are underway, but public access is still available on Wednesdays.
Admissions start at $4 with concessions and rise to $6 for one-time visitors
